Subject: Coach salaries
well someone should follow the random pops in training weekly thread to understand a bit better. I would say it must have a better effect for the increase in salary or the people who wrote the game are nasty gits lol
Well, I'm following the opposite strategy.
Tim Woodchester, age: 43,
wage: 2 295 £
club: Progressive Eels, country: England
weak coach
Training effectiveness:
poor of stamina, poor of keeper
brilliant of pace, poor of defender
weak of technique, tragic of playmaker
unsatisfactory passing,unsatisfactory striker
Obviously, I'd like a better one and he'll be hired in about 6 weeks. When I can afford him.

Clayton Lennon, age: 46,
wage: 4 920 £
club: Mcoi, country: England
good coach
Training effectiveness:
formidable of stamina, hopeless of keeper
unsatisfactory of pace, unearthly of defender
average of technique, excellent of playmaker
formidable of passing, unsatisfactory of striker
That's one of my coaches. I also have a unearthly pace and technique sitting as assistants. Spending 22395 on coaches a week.

Knowing the game, the advantage for better coaches will be minimal...
Most of my spending is on the assistants rather than the main. You could say I'm going for the other approach coaching wise - seeing as most people are going for the main coach skills, I'm trying to get nice assistants.
talking about coaches, I picked my youth coach because of his high defender skill, thinking I would then get good defender youths for my defender biased head coach to train. Have I made an incorrect assumption ?
Yep! I don't think it makes any difference, unfortunately.
ok, so i've let my youth coach go, my current coach can now be my youth coach, i've just hired this guy...
Brendon Jonas, age: 56,
wage: 30 540 £
club: NorwichCityNil, country: England
brilliant coach
Training effectiveness:
solid of stamina, unearthly of keeper
unearthly of pace, unearthly of defender
magical of technique, unearthly of playmaker
unearthly of passing, brilliant of striker
Am I mad ?

Yes. You'll be broke very, very quickly with a coach like that.
Holy craps! My coach is bankrupting me at £17k. I think mad is an apt descriptor.
Probably wouldn't pay as random pops from the lowest skill level within a skill generally take quite a long time.
Btw he's way too expensive for a brilliant coach as well... The cheapest possible for a brilliant coach is a salary of 26000 euro, so that would be about 20000 pounds.
