Subject: A Good Day.
Good in theory but I am not sure they have ironed out the problems with intravenous beer yet...
That's what I don't get. Eastenders is exactly the same on the 5 yr old TV in the bedroom as it is on the 42" HD beauty downstairs. The XBox 360, clearly isn't the same. The solution is obvious. To me.
The solution can't be far away. Marvels of modern technology and all that.
I was thinking of getting the guy from Grand Designs to re-engineer the house, but the sofa/bed swap thing works for me too.
A settee/bed swap and successful spinal surgery? Hell, it's turning out to be a great week for you. :D
Are you rooting for the Israelis tomorrow, too?
Best of wishes to the missus.

A trip to the hospital in the morning and then I get to spend the afternoon in the pub watching football. Or moving the furniture before she comes home..
And it is still sunny.
And it is still sunny.
Sofa out into the garden with a crate of beer and a big screen telly?
Actually did that for the last World Cup. Even put a gazebo up to keep the sun off the screen. Ice cold beer, hot sun and football. That's what I call a Holy Trinity.
Just a shame sometimes I'm not from a different country - might have something to cheer about.

We tried that for the world cup, but the glare was everywhere, it was too sunny. Maybe we need a new gazebo - that one was only a tenner from asda, oh and it blew away in a storm.

I may have just spotted a market for anti-glare TV covers. I'll do them next time England qualify for a major tournament. They shall be called something amusing based on a sunglasses/TV/glare pun. I'll get back to you with that. I've got plenty of time to think it up, at least.
We borrowed ours from a friend's bar. It was about 20' square, so it did the job.
They made them for computer screens once upon a time - don't see them about any more though.
Nice :). I approve ! I humped the 32 incher to the fringe of the conservatory, and sat in the garden watching it from there. And still the glare remained. We watched the evening kick-offs on a smaller one - I couldn't be arsed by then, i think we were out.
