We were having a party during the World Cup so I thought it would be a good idea to also borrow a 12' screen and projector for the later games and show them in the garden. Didn't really get dark enough, so we could only show random stuff when night eventually fell.

They made them for computer screens once upon a time

Aye, and for Gameboy's if i remember. The really crap, non-colour game boys that could be glared out by the moon.

Stumbled upon this old thread during my first coffee of the day at the work.

Haven't quite got around to sorting out a dual floor HD/console arrangement yet, but on the positive side my girlfriend finally ditched the walking sticks last week, seven months or so after leaving hosital, and we are off on holiday to the South Coast in a couple of weeks.

And I got promoted to II.01. Which I suppose is the cloud around which the silver lining runs.

It's not that bad - Greg H escaped, but he did turn his team into the Marie Celeste.

Very true. I couldn't manage it myself last season but you have a far superior side to mine.

So superior I got dumped 4-1 by a Div IV side in round 2 of the Cup...

II.01 was the last II I wanted, but you have to play the cards you are dealt.

I'm playing this game to see how far I get and how good I am. I reckon I'm a solid III side, not much more to be honest.

Your ratings last season suggest otherwise to your thoughts......you are in a tough II but if JJk does not return then you are capable of avoiding auto relegation and most teams in III would struggle against you in a qualifier. I know I would, but then I am pants!

If jjk does not return I think any achievement I might make would be devalued somewhat. Don't get me wrong - I'd take it, but it wouldn't be quite as tasty..
Let us both play well and enjoy our season. More than that?? Who knows..

Well you can only play what is put in front of you, so we will have to wait and see. I would be really annoyed if your lot dropped into my III though. ;)
