Round about the time that the John Smiths adverts were on I was playing footy in a team with my mates. During a match I miss hit a long shot and sailed it over the bar, I turned round to get ready for the goal kick and all my mates shouted 'Ave it!'. The ref and the opposition fell about laughing, and I couldnt help but smile too! B***tards!

Heading back towards a boozer based topic, I've attended a few such things over the last 20 years or so, and London or Oxford are good for me. Oxford particularly because it could connect a bunch of stuck in the mud football PBMers with the digital revolution.
