Darts are for fat people

And golf is for old people. One day Ken, you will be grateful for the chance to compete at something that doesn't require much physical exercise.

Oooh. You're on sokker. Congrats my boy, you're already there.

Is it me, or is this the wrong thread ? :)
2007-11-23 18:33:27
Yes, wondered if he'd notice without telling.

I don't think I like it. It sounds like somebody gave Pinky and Perky a malfunctioning synthesiser. I'm going to listen to it again though.

I'm going to listen to it again though.

that's the mistake I made.

I think Ken should take that back. Darts is for drunk, but not necessarily fat people.

Usually the rules are made up at random aswell.

I told you all Kevin McDine would beat Klaasen :) I fancy him to beat Andy Hamilton today as well.Gary Anderson v Phil Taylor could be a cracker although i think a few missed doubles from Anderson could swing it Taylors way.Starts at 2.10ish on ITV1 :P

Is that Andy Hamilton the dwarf comedian?
2007-11-26 10:51:11
I thought McDine was going to go all the way to be honest. He was going to have one chance at a double in his semi and missed a single 10 i think, lack of experience showed for the first time!

The Power was always going to make mincemeat of The Hammer though.
The Power was always going to make mincemeat of The Hammer though.

I didn't get a word of that. In other news, I got 100 from 3 darts in a game of 501 yesterday afternoon, but still lost to my 84 year old grandma because I can't hit a double. She's quite small, but used this to her advantage, finishing with a double 3.
Double 3 used to my favourite double when i was a nipper ;o)

That is genius!

I watched some of that Taylor-Whatsisface match and it was all very odd.

The other bloke had loads of 180s and flash stuff but didn't win. The commentator banged on about tactics but surely there are NO tactics in darts? How can there be?

Anyway, who won it?
2007-11-26 11:19:44
The power won it. A quality display of darts.
2007-11-26 11:23:26
Nice. He seems a lot smaller than he used to be when he won before has he lost weight?

And that grand slam thing, is that different to the world championships or just a rebrand?
2007-11-26 11:24:55
Not entirely sure on the rebrand thing. Taylor did lose a lot of weight, but he still looks like a darts player :)

Is there a Doris' league at professional level? If so are they as generously proportioned?
