Subject: Paul Robinson in goal then?

2007-11-22 01:47:23
Hes been great for us at crosses. Maybe he has improved?

I thought this was Carsons full debut????
Either way he cannot kick, and from what I saw the only great save he made supposedly was when it hit him and he couldn't fail to stop it.

Hopefully now we can move on and get a decent manager though.

It does show how poor our payers are technically, and I also thought Lampard was as lazy as I have ever seen a central midfilder, he did not once track back.

Gerrard did, but he was trying to cover for Lampard most of the game once Barry was taken off.

In the end we got what we deserved....nothing....it was NOT a hard group, not like Scotlands anyway.

Got back from Wembley just before 1am (and I live in North London). Been to all the home qualifiers, as well as the Andorra match held in Barcelona. Not got a lot to say really. Tonight was an interesting experience to say the least, but what's happened won't fully sink in until the tournament kicks off without us in it.

No complaints with the result. Good luck to Croatia & the rest.

I have just got into work and have spent 10 minutes watching the hundreds and hundreds of police and paparazzi gathered around 25 Soho Square from my office window.

Any ideas why they are hanging around there in the rain?

There is a meeting about McLaren at half eight according to the BBC website.

irony was supposed to be dripping from my post almost as much as rain...

hurumph!
2007-11-22 08:56:17
Oh. And will there be a meeting about the shower of shite that meandered around the field?
2007-11-22 09:01:27
When you said Soho I had minds of some seedy club.
2007-11-22 09:10:43
lol.

I will have you know that the Square itself is very upmarket and only suiting the very best of humankind and the FA.

Oh and Tiger Aspect

and Hattrick productions...

As a Scotland fan I'm very disappointed. I've been deprived of all the vitriol on the lead up to next years Championships with an inevitable quarter final exit.
I enjoyed the feeling around the country and watching any game with work mates was brilliant.

You need a clear out. Alf Ramsay won because he picked the best team. He didn't chop and change the formation to suit the "best players".

Sorry for starting a second thread

the witch is dead. I guess the Wolves job will be up at the end of the season ?

Just got to get rid of the flying monkeys now...

I know there are plenty of Beckham haters, but he was and for me still should be a massive part of the England set up. I remember when he got dropped his set piece accuracy was appalling. He should have been dropped like any other player, for 1 game perhaps.

Becks cares, and his inspiration far outweighs his ability, and they are the types of players England needs. He doesn't need to be fit to stick one on Crouch's head!

As a side note, i thought the referee was fantastic, seriously.

Martin O'Neill for the England job - because he has man management skills, and cares

Only Crouch and Beckham really came out with any credit from that game. Crouch's goal was actually quite classy.

It was a fab goal, but i think Hansen and co were being a bit too kind to him. There was people around him to nod it to, he just didn't nod it to them.

We complain when there is nobody on the box to get on the end of crosses, then when there is, everybody forgets how to cross a ball!

Beckham's attitude and work rate is phenomenal and i would pick him before any player in an England squad.

Sad for Crouchie that he scored the fantastic equaliser and then the defensive side still let Croatia score a goal. It would've been a dream game for Crouch...

what? Why?

I'm dumb, enlighten me!
