not really this time they will come second at least

second might not be good enough though as second placed teams apart from the weakest (because there are 9 groups) will have to face a play off.

Murinho said no and every English manager said no except for Steve Coppell, and Gary Megson.

Personally i don't think Croatia are that good a side we were just awful on Wednesday so thereofre made them look better than they really are. If we get a decent manager and get rid of some of the crap we have in squad then 1st is definitely achievable.

Harry Redknapp didn't say no (he just said he thought he wouldn't be asked), neither has Alan Shearer.

Mourinho didn't say no, he said he wuouldn't be applying, a very cunning, and purposeful use of words, If the Fa offered him the job, with enough incentives, he would probably take it, his ego though wants them to want him, not the other way around.

I'd rather see him employed, and then pilloried for 4 years than the England team win another match ever. Pay the players to deliberately lose and score ogs etc. I'd love it. i rather employ Redknapp, look at Portsmouth this season and last season and with the way he transfers, he can bring in players to England NT and they will make a difference.
