I have already had two Christmas partys! Pizza day is just "It's Friday and almost Christmas so heck why not!" day.

I have taught my brain to filter out any and all before tax amounts. It makes life easier not knowing what is going on.

Christmas bonus was nice even though i've only been working since october :)

Finish at 2pm today, then off down the pub. Got driven in this morning so can get wasted.

Will have achieved the monthly production target by about 10am, so full bonus this month. 7% of the my monthly wage in bonus! Niiiice :o)

Not back at work until the 2nd. Plenty of time to drink all my christmas presents from suppliers.

im going for a meal with work at 1 getting the tram home so can have a fair few then football teams christmas party tonight so its going to be messy.

Think im going to have to put the 15 mile run i had planned tomorrow on hold.

So rather than feed the goat, more marinade the goat?

I am working up until Sunday night, then I am off for the next 4 days, then I am back to work :(

I'm currently on a train, (because my car is dead) from Hayes to Oxford using a work laptop i just recieved today.

The person next to me is trying to do one of those Rubix cubes.

Hardly smug, but it's my last day 'til the 2nd of January.

I've got to work next Mon/Thurs/Fri & I've got to drive to Sussex tomorrow to do the family stuff. I'm going to drink bombay sapphire and badly wrap all my presents for people tonight and then burn my work shirts for next week when "ironing." Boo!

my technique for wrapping presents.

place present in middle of paper.

fold paper roughly around present.

pick present in paper up in one hand, roll of sellotape in the other.

stick top piece of sellotape on the present.

wrap sellotape around the present in circles until paper is barely visible.

that or buy a box.

or get married, and be so rubbish at wrapping that you get to delegate xmas wrapping to the wife. my family are so glad i got married it's untrue.

hey ! actually, yeah. reason to be smug though. Most of the smuggest people I know are married parents.

Would it be smug to get all my presents wrapped by a professional wrapperer?

Also I have just caned my company credit card by paying the bill for the office do. Any ideas how much it cost for 65 people? A clue - a lot!
