Subject: Luton Vs. Liverpool
I know that, but he doesn't splash millions into the club.
I think you're missing the point here Cartman.
Luton spent their money chasing promotion to the Premier League, and failed. As have the majority of the 43 other clubs who have been in administration since 1992.
Fulham and Wigan spent their money to get there,, they just had more to spend, and the backers don't need to spend now because they have the TV money. But if they had missed out on promotion to the Premiership, they would have spent it again the following season until they got there.

I'm not missing the point, I just thought we'd move onto a slightly different topic.
Where does a nice new stadium come from though? You are right, though. Millions have been spent, just not on players ;o)
I watched Reading beat Oxford in a cup match 4 years ago. Pardew had just gone to West Ham and the difference between the two sides had been the crispness of the passing.
They still had Hahnemann, Murty, Harper to name a few, a league 1 side that still contain these players.
I don't know what i'm going on about really, just that they have been incredibly loyal to many of their players, and created a stable football club as you have explained.

Yep, not doing what Cardiff are doing atm helps aswell. Spending all that money on wages is stupid for a championship club. I almost hope they go into administration for being so stupid.
How Peter Ridsdale can be allowed anywhere near a football club again is beyond me - as per usual it'll be the fans who suffer in the end.
Luton fans are showing their class again.
Claiming good hearted banter against the Liverpool players ended up in being threatened by Carragher.
More like one of them threw their beer over Liverpool players while they were signing autographs for Luton supporters.

Liverpool fans have been guilty of far worse - wasn't Alan Smiths' ambulance nearly rocked off its' axles by scallys after he broke his leg in a game at Anfield ? Try and imagine that if you will - there you are, broken leg, morphene to numb the pain, and 20 or so idiots trying to turn your ambulance over. And all because you play for the other team and got in the way of a John Arne Riise shot.
Not to mention the various ticketing debacles at European Cup finals...

Didn't happen. You need to stop reading the Sun.
he meant the ticketing debacle!
And come on, it was Alan Smith!

Hmm, let's see. 5000 tickets allocated TO LIVERPOOL for the final, 30,000 liverpool fans at the game ? How does that happen ? A combination of an inept bureaucratic system, and a bunch of rabid scallies willing to sell their body-parts or kill for a seat, is my guess.

Hmm 5000 seats allocated for one of the teams playing. That seems to be the problem there. How big was the stadium? And they got 5k seats?
Well done sir, Cartmanning of the highest order. Edited with the changes IN CAPS. If pedantry is the only answer to my questions, I'm beginning to think I might have a point.
I think the ticket allocation was means tested...
