Anyone heard about Fatih Terim being the possible new coach? I'd like to see Wise having any type of control on him.

And this Anil Ambami...PL changing to Little-Big Asia League?
2008-09-08 16:08:17
I heard about that. Think I saw the story on the setanta website.
2008-09-08 19:08:04
its not setanta, its se-tan-tah. haha.
2008-09-09 11:42:00
It's a bit more rude than that actually; set-an-ter, bank bank bank, set-an-teeer bank bank bank. Which has been chanted live for all 10ish of oxford's live matches screened by the wrestny channel, mainly because we haven't won a game in front of the cameras.

Stage fright. Gotta be.

Ashley: Keen to sell

I have listened to you (the fans). You want me out, that is what I am now trying to do but it won't happen overnight and it may not happen at all if a buyer does not come in.

Newcastle owner Mike Ashley has confirmed he wants to sell the troubled Premier League club.
2008-09-14 22:27:41
to be honest I don't blame him. If it gets to the point where you can't go to the club you put 20 million a year into for fear you or your kids being assaulted, who can blame him ?

The FA need to get a grip on player wages before people start getting hurt.
2008-09-14 23:05:10
i havent seen anywhere where him and his kids have been threatened with assault apart from his own statement, the only thing i have seen is the police advising him to stay away from ground for hull match due to the protests because the fans are so furious with him over keegan

Georfie fans are not doing themselves any favours imo......watching Motd on saturday they interviewed a 50 yr old woman who said "My whole life is ruined right now!"

That sort of thing does not sound good at all...in fact Lineker, Hansen and Lawrenson were laughing their arses off. It is hardly the end of the world is it? I mean Keegan has never won anything and has quit in every job when the going got tough?

I am not trying wind Geordies up here just looking for some realism......
2008-09-15 10:02:19
she made me laugh i must admit, she mustnt have anything else going on in her life for it to be that bad...
2008-09-15 10:09:24
It would have looked more realistic from a kid, but from a mature woman...it just looked odd! lol

Still from a selfish point of view I hope things get sorted out for Newcastle after this weekend. ;)

Who do people want as manager though?
2008-09-15 10:25:52
most want keegan back but that wont happen while wise is still here,i would prefer keegan but if not my shortlist would be bruce, shearer again wont happen with wise, or maybe zico..apparently shearer has now been stripped of his ambassadorial role at newcastle because of his criticism of the handling of keegan...
2008-09-15 10:28:17
I hate Wise, always have.......Millwall and then Chelsea...yuk.

PS theres nothing wrong with Cockneys.....ex Millwall and Chelsea though I have to agree with! lol

Maybe Freddie Shepherd will get back involved again??
2008-09-15 10:36:49
i used to hate cockneys back in the 80s until i met me mate from east london(west ham fan)lives in peterborough,go and stay with him for few bevvies every now and then and have good laugh.. cant see shepherd coming back ...
2008-09-15 10:44:00
Us West Ham fans are used to adversity. We are brought up with it being fans. lol

I am still very nervous about this season, and Hull, Stoke and West Brom keep winning which is making me feel worse! lol

I am actually a Kent boy though to be fair, but my mums side come from Upton Park, my nan still lives 100 yards from the ground.
2008-09-15 10:52:45
west ham have started off ok at home apart from macclesfield in cup and you have 3 points coming this weekend i suspect..
2008-09-15 10:56:25
Not being funny but I hope so......the air of despondency at west Ham has been overshadowed only by your boys.

In fact the press have not really picked up on it due to Newcastles problems.

Hopefully Bellamy and Ashton will play together for the first time, as I think they could be good together.
