Subject: Some good news for F1
- 1
i agree with you, ITV just cut through the race and made me miss the best bits with their annoying adverts but i thought the good news for F1 was that Fernando Alonso finally decided to retire?
Why would that be good?
There's a spark in F1 because he's there, and if/when he and Hamilton clash, it's going to be more exciting.

Fantastic news that is, the Brazilian GP last year when Hamilton presses the pit lane button and slowed down, went to the back of the race, we missed that, the excitement, of seeing something quite dramatic happen was lost.
This is a major thing for the BBC to get this back.

The main thing the BBC can do is ensure that they keep Martin Brundle in the commentary box. Wouldn't seem right without him.
As long as the doofus that he works with isn't brought over I'll be ok with everything.
Though I have got quite used to Brundle, he does quite a good job considering what he's got to work with.
