you can still play 4 ways with real people, but now youi can play 2 ways at home against 10 others. and things move really fast.

I remember one of those early FIFA games had a bug where P1's left back was about twice as fast as all the other players and had a really powerfull shot. Ah. Left-back hattricks with Pearce in the England squad to unfairly demolish my bro playing as Germany. Those were the days!

I always wondered too, I have it on good authority it's 'EA Sports, it'sinthegame' which is plausible.

Yep. It used to be "EA Sports; If it's in the game, it's in the game," but got shortened for some reason.
