Awesome game! I always wondered how you could kick it so the ball went on fire! Never figured it out, it seemed random.
Good thing about that game is it didn't take too long to suss it out, so you could just hoard around and keep swapping over. Got quite competitive, not played it since my first year at uni about 4-5 years ago now though.
I've not played it for a good 10 years now!
Earthworm Jim, Secret of Mana and Breath of Fire were also quality single player SNES games. I was an RPG fan, and bought the US converter and everything. Even got so bad that we had 2 multi-taps between friends, so had 4 v 4 football games; they were nuts!
Battletoads & Double Dragon, Mortal Kombat, Donkey Kong Country 3, Super Mario World, NBA Jam...all quality fun "swap over" games.

Fever pitch - yes yes yes. Some hilarious games on there with those beefy defenders that knocked the other players flying and the sodding Jurgens diving everywhere.
send me yours and I will be well up for a game or 3
Yeah we only need 9 more for a full race of sokker players:-)
We have a Wii in our house, but it's not online.
How much does it cost to get it hooked to the web?
