Busby's Babes - not too tricky. I'm one of those glory hunting Man U fans, been following them since 1979 (before you were born Ken - or possibly not!!) :)

Steelers - Another American football connection. Like Kipper88, also played at Uni but for Aberystwyth Tarannau.
Loved the sport since Ch4 first screened it in '84. Avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan - been to the states 3 times to see them play.

1) Wideboys - something different, and was fond of the 'wideboy' sound pack on worms. Also started in HT an had a sumo wrestler logo type thing going on.

2) oxolotl - From my days as a mudder on red dragon (now islands of myth) i was in to warhammer at the time and there was a lizardman warrior called oxayotl (a skink i believe) and i was also thinking axalotl (salamander type thing) and came up with my name....i was a lizardman on the mud for my first reincarnation :)

1. OwnedYourMum FC - I made it up when I signed up for Sokker. I wanted something hilarious and witty. Success.

2. robnob - That has been my nickname since school. My surname is Robinson. Rob + nob = plenty of schoolboy giggles. I don't think people liked me. They probably still don't. More success.

Q1. What is the significance of your team name?

I don't think I can really explain. It involved a night in a uni computer room exchanging e-mails with a Spanish friend from my corridor (who was sat on the other side of the room). Somehow, oblong became the focus of the random e-mails, and it became a challenge to insult each other using made-up anagrams. I eventually won when he labelled me a bolbon, but Oblique Blonginessity had been thrown into the mix many e-mails before, possibly to describe the meaning of 'longob'...

Q2. where did your login come from?

Much easier - it's my first and surname abbreviated (and a nickname given to me by my Yr7 French teacher to distinguish me from another Dan) with a 1 added, just incase another DanVan is already out there.
