is insurance lots less for old bangers to make up for the extra wonger spunked on repair bills?

Mine's about £400 fully comp; it makes a bit of a difference, but the repairs are a real pain... Think it might be worth me getting a crown car (like a lease car) through work and driving everywhere to keep my mileage up; warranty etc on those will cover all problems and you can basically choose any car you want!

I dunno, a crown car sounds a bit similar to a clown car to me.
