Well when I was younger my mum worked with a guy who was really camp but at the time when I said to my mum he was gay, she would say no he has a girlfriend......then one day he came out. So he was camp before realising he was gay.

I'm terrified of gay men. Doesn't mean I don't like them.

society makes people who they are and the media do too. if kids see a pathetic person like akon wearing a hoodie, they will want one and act 'gangsta', and you see gay people on tv so kids think its ok and they may prefer being bent so thats who they are, nobody is born gay or straight

I see 2 different types of people.

Gay, men who have sexual feelings for men and
Camp, people who like to make sure everybody knows that they are "gay".

But you can't deny that a lot of people are something just to be different, at the moment, I agree with mattius, that, that thing atm is to be gay. I don't deny that people can't just be gay, but I feel there are people out there that are "gay" just to be different.

Yeah, and i also think that if you are a boy in a large family, your siblings are all girls, they may have an influence on sexuality with seeing them with make up, so the lad may like it and then they may know

But you've just made a statement that all camp people are gay.

I am sure that some people do choose to be gay to be different, however, they are in a minority, and are no different to people that choose to be goths, for example.
