Subject: Ooops! i'm kenned!

ha. so much for life in the bush. i flipped my 4x4 yesterday, and am about to be flown first to Windhoek and then maybe UK or SA. I have a fractured sternum (breast bone) and compression fracture to my no.2 vertebrae. oh, and i cut my head open... twice. hit a kenning pothole. lost a ttyre, left the road, and went airborne. sweet.
amasingly the guys who rescued me also drove the car 200km to the nearest town and hospital!

I think that roll-bar saved your ugly skull from much worse and I do hope your injuries are all temporary ones, which leave no life long disabilities. Hope you get better soon mate! :)

6 weeks full bed rest minimum. not good really. still out here, but they may send me home for the 6 weeks then fly me back out when i'm fixed

Do you get the dull ache in your broken sternum? I duffed up mine with a canoe paddle when in the Amazon, bloody nipped that did...

nah... still got the stabbing pain! plus the excrutiating pain of a broken back i taking up a lot of my focus right no. head has reduced to dull ache status though

Quality, mate. Make sure you get better before you do anything to strenuous. Milk it for all it's worth.
