But the headbutt skill was the best part of Zidanes' armoury ! I think he was secretly after a part in Streetfighter 17...

who thinks arsenal might as well lift the emirates to france and be based there?
2008-05-29 14:41:41
no
2008-05-29 22:27:50
me neither.

come on its natural that managers turn to their home countries. this is where all there contacts are, can you really blame him?

frankly anyone who buys Samir Nasri is fantastic in my book, the fact he's after Blaise Matuidi is just a bonus.

if he gets kim kallstrom i will wet my pants with joy (from a non-arsenal fan)

I don't know what all the fuss is about. The Premiership is the best club league in the world and to keep it's quality it needs to obtain the best players in the world. It just so happens that some of them are French.

well with the supposed change in substitutions english clubs will have to start producing young english talent. so its not much of a problem.

At last, Arsenal sign Samir Nasri. What a signing.
2008-05-29 23:46:42
How do you know that before the BBC and the club website?
2008-05-29 23:47:54
Said so on Various.
2008-05-29 23:49:24
must be true then
2008-05-29 23:50:29
although Wiki agrees! He is now an Arse.
2008-05-30 00:31:15
it was announced a done deal last week in France and published in the newspaper L'equipe...
2008-05-30 08:50:20
Why did they not announce it at Arse then do you think?
2008-05-30 10:29:35
crossing the eyes and dotting the tees i expect. Difficult to play golf when you do that.

I dont know... when I was living in England I always found out that the news took 2 or 3 days to go accross the channel, I guess it's the same the opposite way...
Also in the UK you dont have a newspaper entirely dedicated to sport that is published everyday like they have in France or Italy... that probably make their sport journalist a bit more pro-active to get news...

But the thing is with Nasri is that L'Equipe announced it last week as a done deal but not signed, the other thing is that no one denied it on the day nor the day after...
