I think Blatter is up to his old tricks again.

On the recent vote for the 6+5 knacker (see other thread) Brian Barwick (chief exec. for the FA) voted in favour of Blatter's plans.

WTF!

If it manages to get through it would definitely weaken the Prem, certainly mean less Euro silverware on these shores and harm the buying power of our top clubs. On the plus side: there is no proof it would improve our NT (in fact initial thoughts suggest it would actually worsen), it would reduce bums on seats and therefore revenue (this means ticket prices would go up to compensate for lower sales) and that is the plus side, really. All of this has been investigated and documented by the FA in the lead up to the vote.

Barwick must be the world's biggest pranny to still vote for 6+5 after the findings...

On Friday he warns FIFA on the problems of 6+5, today (see fatty Samuel in The Times) he agrees whole-heartedly with Blatter!

What has changed? Only Barwick's bank manager or mortgage broker can answer that one...

i agree with absolutly everything there Jaize.

The FA will bend over and grab its ankles for Fifa. i reckon they are desperate to host the world cup they are willing to play the lap dog.
