Of course rules should be changed to help England. They invented the game, so it's only fair.
england invented all the top games, we even invented baseball when they changed the name from rounders
and basketball is nothing more than glorified netball

including ping-pong, I’ll have you know, which originated at upper-class dinner tables and was first called whiff-whaff

time?
The English didn't invent time! The Sumerians and Romans did most of the hard work, we just added the "gentlemen, please" bit!

im sure you'll agree that gentlemen, please is easily the most important part of time.
also while not inventing time we did arbitarily declare ourselves the centre of the world when inventing GMT. So we at least own it
and as for time, gentleman please - unless you work behind a bar then this is one of the most offensive sentences in the english language. i much prefer hearing "time for another?"

true - but then i would put "last orders, please" as more important the "time please, gentleman." when you hear the later its already too late and is therefore no use, just bad news.
Unless your local does lock-ins, then it's just for show!
time plese, gentlemen. is that not used in tennis?
