clearly i have TOO much time on my hands if i can be bothered TO make a post about this, but i am amazed at the fact that so many people don't know which TO use. does it bother you TOO?

Yup, i have come across many people in the past that say "pacifically" when they mean "specifically" to ;o) one of them was a lecturer at my old college and she was well spoken...i didn't have the guts to tell her she was making a fool out of herself.

People putting of instead of have annoys me.

Different from, different to, different than? Casual scatterings of apostrophes can be annoying. Especially as they rarely seem to land in the right place.
