I would consider this a personal attack

it is a personal attack. i cannot believe that mattius' post was accepted by people. The comments he made were completely unacceptable, and in clear breach of Sokker rules:

• to post or present material that is designated as illegal on this family-oriented site (i.e. to present any racist, fascist...)

and yes, my post maybe was also in breach to some degree, but i think there is a clear difference.

i will NOT ignore comments of the sort posted, even if it does result in a ban in future. if this site is willing to tolerate that sort of post then i will be happy to be disassociated from it. i might also point out that there are a large number of users of sokker who are non-english but living there and have england teams. many of them are popular members of the england sokker forum community. considering the origins of this game, mattius may want to think more carefully before posting.

Indeed, his post should be deleted, and yours should be edited. Virtually all mattius' posts i have seen are of an ignorant and bigotted slant. He's a young lad trying to act all grown up and converse with adults, but it doesn't work.

WDP, i think you forget that you had to delete several of his posts in the past, after a rather unprovoked attack on me, which i wasn't lucky enough to read before they were deleted, unfortunately :o(

I think the fact that this is clearly going nowhere near the 4th of July means that we have gone too far off topic and as such I am going to close this thread.

Just to reiterate personal attacks will not be tolerated and have been punished as such in the past.

Racist posts will also not be tolerated. Although I am not convinced that on this occassion Mattius meant what he was typing to be taken in that way.

Dylanos and Mattius should know better imo, and Doughnut Jimmy you are right posts have been deleted in the past, but you still cannot see them and that would be of no use to you anyway. ;) ....Oh and I never forget!

so disappointed you english blokes took what was a sweetly sentimented thread, having americans thank you guys for letting our farmers kick you out of our country, and turned it into this.

I am not sure it is appropriate to try and wind up us English folk, I mean everytime we post something with regards to the world wars to Germans we are told that we are out of order as it was not their fault that people years ago from their country started a huge war.

This has the same sentiment and you know it. ;)

You should try Tea and Crumpets they are great.
Do you have a national holiday for when your North beat your South....thats a serious question as I did not get to study American history much at school.
