Subject: Norwich Pull Out Of Discussions With.......
Fulham seem to be a good place to go if you don't make it at another London club :). I'd expect most of the transfer stuff to happen late July to be honest, as Euro 2008 pushes the top players on another 4 weeks, and everything ripples down from the top, e.g. if Ronaldo leaves Man Utd, Man Utd have 70 million to spend, which goes to 4 or 5 clubs (Maybe some to West Ham for Ashton ?), who buy other players, and so on.

Ashton has been touted as a target for Man Utd....I hope thats not the case, I want to see a fully fit and raring to go Ashton in a West Ham shirt. ;)
I want to see a million pounds worth of sell-on fee. Let's be honest, he's never going to play a full season is he ? :)
I'd settle for Iwelumo from Chalrton
Apparently he's coming to our lot, or off to Palace.

hmm, that might explain why Palace have told Morrison to take a running jump, also why your lot got rid of Eastwood ?
I reckon you'll get one of them Cartman :)

When he was out all season from the pre season England training ground incident he had apparently looked the sharpest ever, he really did look trim and quick.......I just hope that one day we see that again and he keeps fit for a nice extended period. He really is a classy player and I think a future England forward who could make a big difference. As for a sell-on are you sure you have that?
either 15 or 25% I believe. Same with Robert Green.
im not surprissed this Norwich deal fell through, it cough and spluttered all the way through. it seems the only way to buy a football club these days is through hostile take over or when the club is on the verge of collapse.
Asthon is a great footballer but im pretty sure manutd will go for berbatov above ashton, why get ashton when they have rooney (despite him looking more tubbier than usual) i cant see west ham selling him. too good to let go and with him not playing much last season i doubt they could barter up a fantastic price for him.
Nicky Maynard to middlesbrough could be a cheeky transfer if it goes through. it'll either be inspired or a disaster. no middle ground at all

On the subject of championship transfers, I think Derby have got a decent deal with Liam Dickinson. I've seen him play a coup,e of times for Stockport and he looks a very decent player. Not quite as good a deal for them as getting rid of Earnshaw for stupid money tho ;)
I think Earnshaw will work out ok in the championship. Does naff all apart from goal-hanging, but seems to break the space-time continuum when he does score. One minute the balls somewhere in the penalty area, the next second, you're all cheering and you're not entirely sure why.
Because he ballooned it over the bar in comedy fashion
sometimes. 27 goals in 41 appearances for Norwich. Very small very quick men can still score goals in the Championship.
I hope so!
There's a captive breeding programme at the academy to cross him with Andy Cole and make us a new Stan Collymore.

He doesn't have enough bodymass to cope with the level of substance abuse required to be a Collymore. You're more likely to be left with a Border Collie. Quite how he's managed to avoid killing anyone in that tank he drives astounds me.
