Subject: Guitar Hero III

The devil one. I don't really count the dragony one in my head although it is insanely hard.

It took me 3 or 4 goes to get past that on easy. I was all gee'd up for the next thing when it says "Oh, you've won this bit by the way"...

I believe Dragonforce is the "hardest" song on the game. There are some ridiculous Youtube vidoes for Dragonforce that i was forced to watch one, they're pretty insane.

I think the best i've managed is about 55% on medium for dragonforce, but that could be a lie.

26 notes per second is not so hard on the guitar once you master the sweep arpeggio. It makes me laugh when I see all these guys that are ALL the fastest guitarist in the world and they all sound like a goose farting in the fog. Not a patch on a decent Spanish guitarist. Having said that, I am not sure how my technique will come across on little plastic keys rather than vibrating strings.

The bits where you have to go up and down buttons quickly i would imagine you'd be pretty good at. My fingers simply do not move fast enough or i don't have the right technique to do those very well (that's what she said).

I also play Guitar Hero right handed and i am cack hander, which i make sure i throw in when i'm being beat.

oh. I should be left-handed but due to growing up when it was seen as a bit rubbish I play right handed. Can you not set it to lefthanded then?

right, I have just finished easy level. so far so good. I am sticking with right handed now I have got to grip with the thing...

What sort of score per song should I be aiming at? Curently it is about 75000 to 95000 ish. Is that OK?

I'd just go for percentage of notes hit. Get that to about 98% per song and your laughing. Youre only going to get more points if you use star powers at the right moments and twang it, i think.

yeah thats pretty much it, the only difference from easy to medium is the pace is picked up slightly and the "fourth note" is added. the blue one, really its not much of a step up so if your hitting 5 stars on easy medium will be fine.

i found easy too slow though, a bit dull. medium is paced just right

Yeah, I skipped easy and started on medium.
Started on expert yesterday and have just lost the battle with Tom Morello for the eight hundred and ninetieth time. Not sure I'll ever beat that.

just have to use your powerups to stop him getting his.

You should be going for 100% on every song. Managed it on Easy and Medium so far.
