I totally agree. I tried to ignore the fact he was playing against a load of lardy boys but he was great. If i remember rightly, the [one of?] reason shearer retired was because there were lots of young prospects coming through. That's kind of backfired a bit really, hasn't it? Anybody know if collina's ok? He tried dodging a ball that was about to hit him on the head in comedy fashion but went down in agony. Looked like achilles or cruciate damage to me?

looked like his knee went from under, most likely ligament and therefore pretty damn serious.

mind you he doesn't referee at a professional level anymore so plenty of time to get his feet up.
