I used to love the "almost live" feel of the old C4/Mick Luckhurst/Gary Imlach days. It's not the same these days with Kev Cadell and Nick "I wish I was a Yank" Halling. Just add Ron Jeremy, and there'd be enough wood there to put B and Q's shed department out of business.

How about collisions 10x as hard which require the participants to wear pads and helmets? Still gay?
How about not having to stick your head between two other fat men's buttocks? Still gayer?

Still follow it - have managed to watch a game live stateside 3 out the last 4 years - beats the heck out of sky coverage.

Also still buy 'First Down' occassionally- despite the fact it destroys any shred of credibility I have left when a casual observer glances at me in the queue in Smiths and thinks I'm buying a kids comic!
