Subject: Whisky
Unopened, a whiskey bottle can maintain its contents pure and wholesome for some 100 years, which makes it a preferable investment to wine and most other spirits. Once you open it, a decent single malt should be consumed within a couple of months else it also starts deteriorating.
As far as paint strippers are concerned, it seems you must consult with Borkos about Queen Margot which sounds like the ticket for stripping paint.

It is of course better to leave it in the cask though as once in the bottle it will not improve any further, just keep. A 5 year old whisky kept for 50 years is still a 5 year old whisky (ish)...
Well at least Queen Margot was good enough to get drunk. Hard to say anything good about it, more than that.
@Jaize

The mathematical part of your statement doesn't make any sense.
I never said it was my education that worked...
Besides, the apostrophe bit of your statement doesn't make any sense either!
