Subject: woo hoo

tomorrow i head off on my hols... a 2 week road trip to Cape Town. The journey starts with a 5 hour drive through Etosha National Park, and includes a great white cage dive, surfing on christmas day, and new years eve on the southern most tip of africa. i am riddiculously excited about this!

anyways, teams and tactics are set - lost the title at the weekend, so not too worried how the last 2 games turn out. Have a good hols everyone. merry christmas & a happy new year.

That is a mako shark and they are way more mental than great whites. I have swum with sharks in open water before they are quite timid really. Just don't cut yourself shaving before getting your gear on...

@ jaize - i've done a lot of shark dives myself, especially in Costa Rica, but a great white is a different game.

@ mattius - Cape Town is no where near as dangerous as Jo'burg. i live in africa, so have no worries or illusions about security etc

I am not saying they weren't but I find it odd people want to dive with them at all, they are at least a bit stroppy.

ps. When you say 5 hour drive, do you mean on your wheels this time?

that's it i'm loging off. i will do my best not to destory any vehicles, or get eaten by sharks, or mugged by street kids. happy holidays folks.
