The objectives of this study were to determine Saku Secondary School´s 6th, 9th and 12th grade students eating habits and compare the results between the classes. What students know about a healthy eating habits, do they appreciate shcool meal and what they eat for breakfast and supper. The research topic is timely because nowadays the pace of life has become very fast and in the society the importance of healthy eating habits have become more valued.

The research is divided into a theoretical part and a practical part. The theoretical part describes the right eating habits, what can affect the right eating habits and the importance of school meals. The practical part consists of the survey, which was carried out between the 6th, 9th and 12th grade. The research relies on the results of the survey and on online sources.
The results of the survey showed that there were no cardinal differences in eating habits between the classes and students prefer school meals to meals which are in the school´s buffet.

Its actually pretty good... just need punctuating and few changes here and there.

The eating habits belong to the students. So an apostrophe is needed. They belong to more than one student, so the apostrophe comes after "students". In theory, it would be "students's", but that sounds silly, so in practice we write students'. I've not enclosed it in quote marks so it's easier to see.

"A healthy eating habitS" in the second sentence. One of these letters that I have capitalised must be wrong. "Habits" is plural and "A" implies singular.

That's all I can find that is wrong. There are other bits that I wouldn't use that aren't wrong. However, there is one that marks you out as a foreigner speaking English :) It's the use of the word "cardinal." It's entirely correct, but sounds really odd.

Any help translating the word "shortening" - is it synonym for butter/margarine!?

I think that margarine is a type of shortening

I have a pie recipe that says I have to add x amount of shortening. Does it mean any fat is ok or shortening is something specific?

I think any fat will do, thugh the better fat - the better pie :p

I work as a school headmaster. I need to translate our school name into english.

Saue Riigigümnaasium is estonian name.

Saue - city name
Riigi (state) gümnaasium (means high school 10-12 grade)

Which one of them suits the best? Or neither of them?
1. Saue state gümnaasium
2. Saue upper secondary state school
3. Saue state upper secondary school
4. Saue secondary state school
5. Saue state high school

What age is 10-12 grade?

And English school names and American can be quite different..
