Kite runner was pretty good. Haven't read any of the others.

The Kite Runner is good enough, a huge bestseller but I think that was it's timing 6.5/10
Espresso Tales is good. gentle and nice as are all McCall Smith's stuff. 8/10
Nice Work - a great book that made it on to the Booker list I think 8/10
The Line of Beauty - superb, I enjoyed it as it is in and around Oxford which I know well. 9/10
