Thats what my social worker said, I'm never going on a blind date again.

I tried a banana curry once from a recipe off the net, never again. It was grim and seemed to do strange things with ones insides.

I find that banana in a stir fry tends to amplify the taste of the other ingredients. You might just have had a bad curry.

You already do. Curiously, bananas hang "upside down". Well, the way up you wouldn't think, anyway.

does each banana actually "hang" then?

Only as it ripens. When ripe the whole hand hangs correcty.

i actually cant believe after that second comment there has been a big spiel for 2 pages about bananas XD

meanwhile im considering going picking them. bunches are supposed to be 90kg's according to one guy i was talking to. seems a bit high though. he said one bunch was 110kg. u carry them to trucks all day. and spiders, snakes etc which have made the bunches their home go about it their best to protect them :)

i never considered if bananas have an upside or a downside. i always open the side with the stemmy part first
