Subject: Tell me something interesting to do.
Thinking back to a quite enjoyable rant of yours about how modern rock guitarists aren't a patch on their flamenco counterparts, how about doing a reworking of some modern rock classics in a flamenco style and whacking them on youtube ? As it stands, you'd be practically the only decent music on there at the moment as they've banned all music video in the uk due to a hissy fit with PRS.
lol - that might be fun! Not sure the tonality of my guitar is up to the job, I will give it a look-see though.
As for PRS - winkers, utter winkers! If there is anyone on SK that can explain their tack, I would be delighted to hear it. Don't tell me it is all about royalties either - the quality on youtube is crappy so it is hardly likely anyone is dense enough to use it to "pirate" stuff.

They're like the taxman and visa. If they can pick up a few more pence every click, they can get comfy new chairs, and lease a potted plant that rots in the corner - a little more justification for their own existence, never mind the people who actually write the songs.
sounds like the HR dept. at my former company...
As for flamenco rock - thinking back over the last couple of years, some serious surf rock and even flamenco influences in the age of the understatement by Last shadow puppets, Brianstorm by the monkeys, Knights of Cydonia and other Muse tracks, even Pendulum whose single opened like it was a mariachi band - maybe it's an idea whose time has come ?
