I get that you are happy, but that was a bit ott, and was therefore deleted. ;)
i understand, i am sorry, i thought my aggressive sde was behind me
You are crediting Ferguson with too much.
Ferguson is overated. The actual people behind the last few years United's successess are the actual trainers like Carlos Queiroz (now Portugal NT coach) and now Rene M Meulensteen now the first team trainer who is Dutch, with a "unearthly" skill set in sokker terms!
These guys are the behind the scenes hard workers while Ferguson keeps taking all the credit and even Ferguson knows this. He recently got the Blackburn fitness coach to Manchester United as fitness trainer too.
When left to Fergusons own decsion making all he can do is play Gary Nevilles as wide back and a boring game that totally relies on crosses LOL. The fludi play and 100% involvement of all players was brought about by the Portugese coach!

You're spot on
...those 10 league titles, 5 FA cup wins, and 2 CL wins over the last 17 years have clearly all been down to the backroom boys.
Ferguson is so overated. As you point out, he hardly deserves to be called a successful manager, only having the skills to spot good coaches, physios, etc. then bringing them to the club, letting them get on with their jobs (without meddling too much)... oh and the small matter of being prepared to put his own ego aside to take their advice.
...clearly not the traits of a good manager!
Here's to another 17 years of overrated management at ManU by SAF ;)

Exactly, look at Aberdeen FC History.

Even at St Mirren he did well.
At AFC he build his team around some home grown youths, 1 or 2 pyschos in midfield and some very good bargain signing flair players like Gordon Strachan. The man is a genious. he follows the same pattern for his team wherever he goes. At Man U he doesn't have to limit himself to bargain signings so thats an easier job for him now.

Glad to see someone can see the facts I point out.
have you looked up the definition of 'irony' in a Dictionary lately?
part of Ferg's greatness is that despite being an oldtimer he keeps up with the times so easily. Once he did it all himself, now he has a vast team - either way the trophies arrive!
Sorry I missed it. I was expecting direct honest answers. Its my fault anyways.
In my opinion he is too old and overated. I agree on the part he gets help from the very best (like the Portugese national coach) to keep his success rate high.
My friend, nobody can provide answers here - they're all opinions...
mine is that, even if there is some truth to what you suggest, SAF must have been doing something right for last 17 years to get all that success (and the prior success at Aberdeen (thanks Dandy). Or maybe he's just very, very lucky?

Defenitely agree on the luck part. But then again no matter what anyone does, for one to be successful luck does play a significant part in every case.
my opinion is that what SAF has done with ManU (or Wenger has done at Arsenal) - that is win things with a big club in a era of big club dominance - is very very impressive. Many mangers would have failed.
But what SAF did with Aberdeen (or Clough did with Derby and Forest) was the mark of greatness...

sir alex just has the officials on his side exept for when he looses when the referees are fair
Yes, he is obviously an expert twat with absolute zero knowledge in football and all his luck and success are due to premier referees qualifications course module called 'Honour SAF 101'.
