But one that might interest the sports fans amongst us:

After the conclusion to the 6 Nations, who would you pick for the Lions team who will face South Africa in the summer?

I've gone for a squad of 30, with 15 Forwards and 15 Backs:

Backs:

Byrne (Wales)
Paterson (Scotland)
Armitage (England)
Shane Williams (Wales)
Hook (Wales)
Blair (Scotland)
Cueto (England)
Bowe (Ireland)
O'Driscoll (Ireland) - CAPTAIN
Flutey (England)
Evans (Scotland)
Stephen Jones (Wales)
O'Gara (Ireland)
Phillips (Wales)
Stringer (Ireland)

Forwards:

Jenkins (Wales)
Stevens (England)
Adam Jones (Wales)
Flannery (Ireland)
Euan Murray (Scotland)
Hayes (Ireland)
Mears (England)
O'Connell (Ireland)
Hines (Scotland)
Scott Murray (Scotland)
Wyn Jones (Wales)
Wallace (Ireland)
Martyn Williams (Wales)
White (Scotland)
Heaslip (Ireland)

Who would you pick for your Lions team?

I know that this is a football site, but I added this topic as a bit of fun and debate.

Lee.

isn't stevens suspended for drug abuse. Oh and I wouldn't have stringer doesn't even start for Ireland I'd take The Scottish scrum instead

Yeah you are right - sorry that one passed me by!

Stringer may be a non-starter but he is still a good scrum half and has experience like his countryman Hayes.

I'll take Stevens out and put Ross Ford of Scotland in his squad place.

Mike Blair is the Scotland scrum-half, by the way mate.

Still rate chris cusiter over Blair based on prior seasons
