You're not missing on much...

Well it would be always nice to watch some real British tv. I have some though, like BBC, BBC something and few others...plus some foreing, but English languaged like Al jazeera English and some other news services...I thought I saw BBC entertainment or something like that, but I'm not sure, must check it when I get some time.

The BBCs are the one I prefered when I was there...
The rest of it is commercial tv with a lot of junk and on some occasion one interesting program.

For a country with such a bad weather it always striked me the TV was not more interesting... you really had to have the satellite to catch some nice movies or documentaries... although I still rate the BBCs as very good channels in comparison to what I've seen somewhere else.

nonsense. nearly all telly in the UK is crap, repeats of crap or reality crap. Too many channels getting not enough cash and poor regulation. Even Auntie Beeb has gone all school Ma'am. ITV and BBC seem to put all the cash into shows that will sell elsewhere and dumbing down is rife. Best not watch it and go and do something else instead.

Not really free isn't it coz you have to pay tv licence to watch. I'm not English and the country where I came from this is an absurd! How on hell you let them do this to you! is not cheap 100 e something a year do be able to turn on your tv is a complete rip-off

my licence is due to expire very soon... :/ well they are nice tough if I became blind they will give me a discount! LOL
