A long time ago I had this problem where I could not open paint as it says there is too little memory. I remember it was sorted using the Registry etc. I can't remember how though so can somebody help me again please?

Thanks. ;)

You are a star, thanks.

Paint still does not work so I have now downloaded Gimp.

I'd rather take a hammer to my computer at times. ;)

While you're there, can you have a go at my starter motor ?

LOL as long as you pay my mileage. ;)

Fixed paint, fwiw it was the screen being to large on paint for the program to cope with, so going into an existing paint and clicking back to default screen size has fixed it. :)

I'd get google picasa if all you want to do is crop images. Much easier to get along with, and a fee download too.

Sounds interesting, do you use that?

Do you mean resizing by 'crop'? If so, irfan view is good...

i have no comment. i have never walked past gimps (which i know of) but i suspect there would be a smell of rubber which i am not too fond of. so i shall very much avoid them
