god i now realise how it truly feels to be the team everyones laughong at. 5 hours it's been done now and ive only just moved, utter dejection and wanting to argue with everything,

After a while it becomes kind of normal. If you get really lucky, "the fans" will start up marches and stuff and put pressure on the board, bouncing managers out of their jobs, then the board will appoint managers by means of knee-jerk reactions to the last appointment, putting someone in charge who was a diametric opposite to the pre-deccesor, but still utterly useless at managing a football team - this will continue until you appoint a famous former player with no previous management experience (our current boss worked in the corporate side for years, then he was head of player recruitment, never even a coach...), he will get you relegated, but the board will still appoint him for next season.

today i went to the BBC web page to find Newcastle's fixtures... it took me a moment of confused searching to realise why i couldn't see any. i was looking at the prem. still completely gutted :^(

think i read on nufc.com website the bbc are showing live championship matches as well as sky this coming season, im thinking we really gonna struggle as everyone is gonna want to turn us over and that wont be difficult to do the way things are at moment..

You will be everybodies cup final match. Thats why you will find it so hard. You'll need a good start imo or you'll be there another season. Get a few wins and then you'll get confidence back and teams will fear you, then I'd back you to promote.

i certainly wont be backing them at 5/1 to win championship,would like to see nile ranger get a few games to see how he does as he done quite well in reserves and scored 4 goals in 4 games for england u19 just recently,,

Not heard of him, but Carroll looked a decent striker from what I saw, and very handy in the air.

we got him from southampton some time last year,shearer gave him a 3 and half year contract i think not so long ago, he is pretty pacey..

Maybe he could play with Carroll and get players playing who care and have something to prove? ;)

agreed... i would rather we field an U21 side in the championship for 3 seasons then come up with a team ready to get into the top 6

its a shame newcastle went down. there are a lot worse teams with worse scummy fans like hull who should have went instead, plus the away support for the toon is always great too.
