Oh my! The hypocrisy!

I only live by my morals, but she is just an adult version of a bully, what are they called? Oh, yes, a bully! She should take her pussy and stick it up her cat! Or something like that...
2009-06-12 18:37:11
Yow-ch.
2009-06-12 18:42:27
well indeed! That is the sort of thing that them lot deserve. As well as aubergine obviously. Oh, and okra.
2009-06-13 00:45:40
who are you talking about? so i can slate as well, but i want to know who it is first ;)
2009-06-13 01:09:50
Ask your vegan freak - Does grass register pain when it is cut ?

If he weren't dead, you could ask Roald Dahl. I distinctly remember a "Tales of the unexpected" featuring some device by which you could listen to plants. A bloke wore it whilst some lumberjacking was going on and became overwhelmed. I think.
2009-06-13 10:57:32
some daft bint that works with eirikr, he is scared of her because she loves cats and is a vegan and thinks that humans are scum. Maybe she could help reduce the population by one?
2009-06-13 11:31:25
That is a very feeble connection - I also think humans are scum, but that doesn't stop me eating a blood dripping steak. In fact, if people who are vegan weren't so sickly, I'd make a nice main course out of them... no problem eating a few humans!
2009-06-13 12:12:27
That's not very sustainable. They'd be happier to be given the run of the garden, fed on food waste and scraps, and tethered by a long non-allergenic chain linked to their genital piercings to stop them straying far. That way you can milk them and eat their babies.
2009-06-13 13:22:30
That is not a very long-term view.

No problem eating a few humans, but it won't be the nice ones will it? I mean Beckham is getting long in the tooth and as a footie player will have no further contribution to make to society after he retires, so would be ideal tucker!

But that won't happen will it? We will get the MacD's version of processed, minced/diced lips and a-holes from community service dodging uberchavs mixed with a big dollop of E numbers! The only plus side to this will be the energy saved at the crematorium. Oh, and the removal of Jeremy Kyle from the telly with the sudden lack of customers.
2009-06-13 13:27:13
all the ones that go on jeremy kyle should after the show be diced into the machine, they are stupid chav types says i.

kill all vegans as well and let the cows and chickens and pigs eat them, thats what they would want.

Group D

Rich Tea vs Honey and Almond biscuits
McVities White Choc & Raspberry Cookies vs Bourbon

Table after 2 matches:

Rich Tea...................1.....0.....1.....30.....31.....6pts
Bourbon....................2.....0.....0.....34.....26.....3pts
Choc & Raspberry Cookies...1.....0.....1.....32.....34.....3pts
Honey & Almond Buscuits....0.....0.....0.....30.....35.....0pts

In tonight's matches...

Honey & Almond have a very tough match against group favourites Rich Tea, but win or lose they will not qualify. Rich Tea are through but coul slip to 2nd place if they by some miracle lose.
The cookies versus Bourbon looks likely to decide 2nd place. Bourbon are ahead by a lot of votes, so a draw will see them through.

Since woppa failed to do the final group matches during the week, and i actually had some work to do for once, we are a bit behind. polls close 9pm monday as everyone will have logged on by then pretty much
2009-06-14 13:34:26
The knockout stages are looking like this now...

match 1
A1 v B2 - Shortbreads vs Digestives

match 2
B1 v A2 - Hobnobs vs Veinnese Whirls

match 3
C1 v D2 - Ginger nuts vs ?

match 4
D1 v C2 - ? vs Custard Creams

some big matches there already. what about the semi's?

match 1 vs match 3
match 2 vs match 4

that way no one can face an opponent from their group stages until the final

Aye, that's the plan.

Shortbreads v Ginger nuts
Hobnobs v Custards

That'd be my guesses for the semis.
2009-06-14 16:49:11
hmmm.... i think rich tea will be in there although they could have a tough draw against custard creams if they win there group. they would benefit from tactical voting as i think they could take ginger nuts

woppa, you need to set a time to close the polls and take care of matches this week as i am out in the field all week.

I realise people have been waiting days for a biscuit barrel update. Today we have double choc chip biscuits (they are probably called cookies but I can't quite bring myself to write that. Although I just did. And I suppose the choc part should more properly be called chocolate), custard creams (again, don't they know how to rotate selections?) and rich tea (again. People haven't even finished the last batch yet).
Poor planning if you ask me.
I might write an angry letter.
