Subject: Biscuit World Cup

I have to say I am disappointed that people are judging biscuits on dunkability rather than pure taste. Biscuits should be treated in their purest form, not modified in any way!

Group D

Rich Tea.............................3.....0.....0.....52.....40.....9pts
Bourbon.............................2.....0.....1.....49.....38.....6pts
Choc & Raspberry Cookies...1.....0.....2.....44.....49.....3pts

Rich Tea & Bourbon are through to the next round. a testament to the "safe" tastes of the (mostly) british voting public

the winner must be custard cream, they can be enjoyed on their own, and dunked, and they never get boring no matter how many you eat,
2009-06-15 22:56:34
fair point Gibby, but how can you distance the biscuit from the cuppa?
2009-06-15 23:45:02
It should be a biscuits in tea world cup if based on dunkability!
2009-06-15 23:55:02
true, but Israel are in the Eurovision song contest so we can't all have what we want, can we?
2009-06-16 11:33:40
we are british ! The biscuit is but a tea peripheral to us !
2009-06-16 11:53:06
You ARE British! Ignorance about your own heritage is a prerequisite. Viennese whirls... Pah!
2009-06-16 12:03:28
Absolutely ! Countries like America and Australia have a history of 200 years ! We have so much history we've forgotten most of it !

Rubbish! You're just so inbred that your average brains' capacity has decreased over the centuries.
This has nothing to do with Americans and their measley history.
2009-06-16 12:11:44
my brain isn't that old. i'll give you average though.

Rich Tea vs Custard Cream HAS to be the clash of the titans.

This would have been a worthy final.
2009-06-17 16:10:31
Neither will make the final imo.
2009-06-17 16:12:23
Shortbreads probably will win this first historical Biscuit World Cup.
2009-06-17 21:15:06
I hope so.
