Woppa [del] to All

The best sandwich biscuit, the mighty, chocolatey Oreo vs one of the world's blandest biscuits. Clearly the Brits like blandness, but my vote goes to the awesome chocolatey, sandwichy, white-bit-in-the-middle OREOS!

bland is fine in a rich tea dunking sensation, but if you so much as hint at a digestive that its going into a cuppa it goes soggy and falls apart.. bah! hate to do it, but the yanks have my vote. oh and oreos are great pulled apart and stuffed with a melted marshmallow

I've always thought of the digestive as a bit of a grower, the War and Peace of biscuits if you will. If you're going to have one, you may as well get comfortable and do the lot in one sitting, eating just one misses the point of them somewhat. Oreos on the other hand are but mere fluff when compared to the stoical majesty of the digestive.

Digestives dipped into my tea all day long. ;)

Oreos for crying out loud. They're one of the favourites in my opinion. Getting beaten by digestives. The Greece of the biscuit world.

oreos are rubbish
digestives aren't
so i voted digestives (:

digestives are pointless... they taste like gnarled cardboard, crumble in your tea and the entire packet disintegrates if you so much as tap them on the worktop.

It's got to be Oreos!

Oreo lose marketing value due to the fact that the biscuit body looks like it's really difficult to open unless you've got a Phillips-head screwdriver.

Oreo is not a biscuit. It's a travesty, an American amongst blue-blooded royals... a mongrel, a blend of sugar and dirt... it definitely weaseled its way into this competition by some uncertain means.

A bit like Israel in the UEFA European Football Championship? ;-)

...with recent performances by of English teams I'd be worried too.

It's not just the club sides either - see

How is that related to oreos v digestives?
2009-05-30 08:30:42
it isn't, what is your point?

Time to call an end to this unwarranted beating.

Closing ends 1800 SK time today.
