That's a rubbish place to build hotels and houses. The rent is pants and they're always getting knocked down again.

Introducing a sub group of "rubble" into the game could open up a new dimension though. If you get enough rubble you could build a house, or you could just throw the rubble at other peoples' houses.

You need more than just rubble to build a house, what you gonna stick the rubble together with?

Presumably if you tackled that problem, your going for the no window, hole in wall for door approach?

Probably your 2nd choice is best and much easier. Use the rubble as ammo, not really in the spirit of the game monopoly though.

Worst thing I ever saw during a game was the fold the board in half move during play. What an ar$y thing to do that is.

Now Subbueto that was the proper game of choice in my day. I still remember my 'Gordan Strachan' player, the one that had broken so much you could glue it back to the remaining legs on the base. You had to glue directly to the base after a bit of filling, thus creating a significatly shorter player, 'Gordon strachan'. Only for him to excluded in proper championships for being a non regulation figurine.

My general theory with Monopoly is never to play it. Especially with those at college that "have never lost" and then win. Things don't get pretty...

Agreed Subbuteo indeed rocked. Although mine was just a couple of teams and enough stuff to play now and then. My mate had the whole thing with a stadium and fans and camera crew and stuff. His dad was one of those blokes with a large train set in the loft looking for all the world like Heidi country (yes he did have little cows grazing in pastures). Curiously his claim for this love of all things Hornby was that he was being patriotic to Kent...

you could always dig a big hole in the garden and claim it as a replica channel tunnel ? circa 1995 ?
