I like all sorts of things from all sorts of time periods, massive fan of chicago blues, jazz and proper R&B (not that crap that is called that these days). I love some of the bands that I grew up with culturally with the Cure and the Smiths being among the most well known. More recently my taste has become even more eclectic with Rilo Kiley, Sigur Ros, Seth Lakeman and Beth Orton all getting played regularly. I am a particularly big fan of all types of acoustic music, particularly guitar stuff, but generally I will listen to most things and see if I can "get it".

I love the Doves, but I've seen them live 3 times and despite being biased towards them they've been a disappointment every time :-(
