Just like the cheesy WC or the biscuit one here be the Single Malt World Cup.
There will be only 12 contenders in a knockout system.
1. RogIronfist - Ardbeg
2. jaize - Bowmore
3. Vancian - Jura
4. mattius - Lagavulin
5. RedJim - Talisker
6. oxolotl - Oban
7. dylanos - Bushmills (16yr old)
8. doughnut_jimmy - Glenmorangie
9. dandy - Dalwhinnie

Two things;
1. Get it right, it's the wine WC next to go with our cheese and biscuits.
2. Shouldn't we get the cheese one out of the way first?
I'm not aware of cheese complimenting single malts?

This place has been one of my favorite forums for a long time. Pretty hilarious to read those posts here. However those different World Cups are turning this forum into pile of crap.

In deference to Vilpu, whos opinion I respect and admire, I shall let the public decide whether they want a Cheese World Cup, or Cheese-bledon, with a knockout format.
I am perfectly willing to wait until the cheese competition is over.
