the last good manager we had; although maybe retired a season too late. true legend.

I did know he'd died until I read this, I assume it was today!

He was a great manager for England too, a nice bloke all round and had class to go with it imo, RIP. :(

Yes, an awful loss to football especially English football... One of the all time greats :(

brought a tear to my eye.
Can remember my first newcastle home game, was in 2001/2 i think, he wasn't the manager or anything anymore and 'there's only one Bobby Robson' was ringing around the stadium.
