It gets worse every time you watch it

horrific outcome but it doesn't look like there was intent. the injured player is the one who slid in to get the ball whereas the guy who was chasing his own ball could very legitimately have been trying to get to the ball also ... just a wee bit late... he stars to raise his leg and go for the ball before the tackler goes to ground

You seriously must be joking? please dont take up being a ref - the guy in the red was never going for the ball by tackling like that, you dont stamp on a ball to tackle.

Very poor tackle and hope the guy gets to play again.

It was Marcin Wasilewski who was attacked...he was supposed to join Hull city before the end of transfer window...

career over? i should think so unfortunately, tackler should be banned for life.

Mate dont ever try your hand at refereeing. You honestly beleive that there was nor malice? That tackle makes me wince every time I look at it..

It was 100% purposeful, Wasilewski and Vitsel had some fights in previous games, some elbow fighting etc. As far as I remember, Vitsel got elbowed in the face last time they played and wanted to have a revenge...

As for Vitsel, yeah he's playing again since december I guess. Wasilewski is back to training, but I don't know how he's doing...
