Can anyone recommend me some good horror movies made lately (~1990-2009) in England or other Great Britain countries?

I've seen Dog Soldiers, 28 days later, 28 weeks later, The Descent, Severance and few others lately and really liked them all.

Easily pleased aren't you? :-) get hold of 'drag me to hell'. Apart from 2 or 3 comical moments, i found the film a thrill to watch. Probably the best "horror" i've seen for years.

[edit: whoops, probably not a brit movie]

What? Why? Are you saying those movies aren't good? :)

get hold of 'drag me to hell'.

I will as soon as possible. Really loved Evil Dead "trilogy" so my hopes are pretty high with this Raimi horror too :)

Shaun of the Dead. Brilliant.

Have it on tape but still haven't watched that..

Anyone seen that Dead Set tv series thing? I have heard good things about it..

My bloody valentine and the final destination

I find the final destinations a bit stupid, and was disappointed with their latest offering. How about Dead Silence?

I think the Phantasm series is British, although could be wrong (I know the main baddie is British).

Oh I DO hate BB.. I guess I'll try that one :)

How about Dead Silence?

You mean that one with the dummy? Saw that a while ago. Pretty good one :) Theres something that really bothers me in dummies.. :p

Hmmm.. If I have a chance I'll usually choose that second option, much scarier than the first option, but in overall anything goes. Although those american "horny teenagers die one after one" horrors are usually quite boring. Animal horror is a no no too..

For Spooky psychological / paranormal horrors anything by M Night Shamalon (spelling) makes really good films, such as Signs and 6th sense. The descent was brilliant and the second one is due out later this year. Supernatrual is a really good creepy show.

The Descent 2? Nice :)

Just checked imdb and seems that those femmes from first one are there again which is nice. Too bad mr Marshall is only on the backround this time..

Anyone seen another Marshalls film "Doomsday"? Is it worth watching?

Supernatrual is a really good creepy show.

Agree. There should be more horror tv shows.. X-Files had some scary stuff then and now and Friday the 13th the series was ok too but not much else.. :/
