Guessing the lotto numbers? I'm looking forward to friday's show, but i really want to know what his strange head-nod is all about. I find it strangely unnerving.

I think it's a natural language programming thing - but it could just as easily be a nervous tick. I thought he was going to have a stroke when he started babbling over the lottery last night.

Yeah, it's a tic. There's this psychological thing where if you ask a question where the answer you want to receive is "yes", you can ask it and nod at the same time. Like "Fancy going out for a few pints tonight, love?" accompanied with head nodding, and the missus is much more likely to say yes than if you omit the head nod. Anyway, he did it so much at uni, apparently, that he's now got this tic. Or tick. I'm never sure which it is.

he sees the lottery numbers 5 seconds before everyone else, every terrestiall tv was 5 seconds slower than what the con man saw. ;)

But the numbers he picked were on the rack for longer than 5 seconds...

From things I've read, people seem to think it's a simple camera trick, the left hand side of the screen that we see was either frozen or covered or something, so someone was just putting the balls in place as the draw was being done..

I was wondering if someone dressed from head to toe in green, carrying a green marker pen, could have written them on the balls with the camera masking the green. But the ink in the green pen would have to be black.
