Is it my imagination, or does soemone on here work in an IT/Data capacity within the NHS?
Just been doing my weekly trawl of the job market and I've seen a few decent jobs as Senior Information Analyst or similar, but they all require you to have already worked within the NHS. The only entry point I can find is an £11 an hour job doing little more than data entry, and whilst I could take a small paycut to gain a foothold, no way can I afford to drop that far down the scale..

You should see the latest e-mail from HR...
'Exploring ways of increasing synergies with our sister companies..'

Or you might be sitting at another desk for another company while on the same rate, being paid by your lot - it goes that way too sometimes.

True, but my manager and I have a mutual, profound dislike of each other. He won't back me over the other guy, unless doing so benefits him.
