Subject: safari

i wanted to share these pics with you all... partly to gloat of course but mostly just to show how incredible this place is. these were taken over 3 days in Etosha National Park here in Namibia. I had some investor presentations to attend and a meeting with Parks Management which means that the whole thing was basically a day in the office for me :^D

As an Attenborough idol and lover of pretty much all things wildlife, they look amazing dude, nice one.

What i want to know though, is why you seem to be in most of the photos? :o)

I am planning a hike through the Guatemalan rain forest as I read that, I am after some photo action myself. Some rare birds and animals are on the menu - not literally, although I do like a roasted monitor lizard when needs must. ;-)

I will post anything decent I get by way of exchange...

cheers guys... been here 20 months now, and this was the best trip to etosha yet out of more than a dozen

rainforests rock... i've been in them in costa rica and sri lanka.

as for rare animals on the menu... get to the right village on the right day and you can be served elephant here :-|

now that is a biiiiiiiig steak!

Not sure I could bring myself to eat Elephant, no endangered animals really.

I ate crocodile in Thailand... Very full of flavour!
