Biffy Clyro's new album Only Revolutions was out on monday. It's an instant rock classic. Arguably their best album yet. Not quite as mainstream as Puzzle, nor as disjointed as their earlier stuff, but still has that Biffy experimentality running through it. I can highly recommend it.

If you haven't yet got into Biffy, Mr Prophets, might I suggest you start now?

this is probably for just a few of you but for people looking for something mellow and a bit folky, check out my friend's band - annie & her oshen or her new video Los Angeles Thursday

just released her EP in the states and i'm doing the promo for it here (radio play in the new year, hopefully some festivals to follow etc)... if its not your style - and i'm sure for many it isn't - then fair enough, but if its the sort of thing you listen to a) please let me know if you think its a good example of its kind, and b) spread the word.

they've been together a while now, long enough to enjoy it and not expect anything from it, if you know what i mean.
